Our clients approached us wanting to develop their block of land and existing terrace in an inner-city suburb of Sydney. The land being classed as multi unit development enabled a proposal for the terrace to be converted into two new separated residences.

Architecturally the two residences are formally treated in a similar manner in their materiality and planning approach. Both the internal and external spaces inter-connect and borrow from each other. With shaping and moulding, the landscape comes in and the interior spaces extend out.

The use of light and visual extension of space through view corridors and space beyond form, around corners and at edges all contribute to the feeling of larger spaces.
